3/27/72 <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to pass Resolution No. 11, that the Clerk be authorized to <br />write to Mr. Gotwald instructing him to proceed with the plans for sewer and <br />water in Shenandoah, and to forward the completed plans to the various State <br />agencies and to the Council for approval. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Vote: <br />Aye -- Cardinal, Jaworski, Marier, Swanson and Bohjanen; No- -None. Carried. <br />The Clerk reported that we had a letter from the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />requesting nominations for people to serve on an Advisory Committee. Mr. <br />Bohjanen asked if there was time limit. Mr. Cardinal said No, but the sooner <br />the better. Mr. Bohjanen asked the members to come up with names for the next <br />meeting when this will be on the agenda. Mr. Cardinal thought this would do <br />as the Watershed Board meeting is on April 12th, 2 days later. <br />The Clerk had received a notice on a hearing for a Transfer of Certificate for <br />Morley Transfer of Forest Lake. <br />The Clerk had made a list of resolutions and motions adopted since the first <br />of the year which she felt would qualify as numbered resolutions if the Council <br />so wished. Mr. Bohjanen thought it was not necessary to number the resolutions. <br />Mrs. Swanson asked if it wouldn't be more efficient, and suggested that we <br />number them so we can see what year they fall in. <br />Mr. Marier moved to number the resolutions going back to the first of the year <br />and putting numbers on all the ones listed by the Clerk, and amending the <br />minutes to do so. Seconded by Mrs. Swanson. Carried unanimously. <br />A letter had been received from the State Dept. of Administration asking for <br />a signed statement on the appointment of a Building Official. Mr. Jaworski <br />moved that the Clerk sign the form noting that our official was acting on May <br />27, 1971, and to send it in. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk noted receipt of an application to renew freeway Sign Permit #22 for <br />3M National Adv. She was advised to hold the application. <br />209 <br />The Clerk had received a request from Mrs. Mary Gilischinsky (nee Howard) to sell <br />trailer homes on her property of the Baldwin Lake Trailer Court. The Clerk <br />had put her on the P&Z agenda for 9 p.m. on April 19th. Mr. Locher said she <br />would need a variance, but she is in a commercial area. <br />The Clerk reported that she had requested Centennial State Bank to increase <br />our collateral by $50,000 to bring the total up to $100,000. She had signed <br />the forms today and would deliver them to the bank tomorrow. <br />Gross Industrial Service had submitted a price on putting floor mats by the <br />doors, exchanging them monthly for clean ones. This was tabled. The firm <br />also provides coveralls, other clothing and towels. <br />The Clerk had received Advanced Red Cross certificates for Richard Hauer and <br />Marcel Rivard. Mr. Cardinal moved to raise the salary of these two police men <br />by $25.00 per month to $150.00 per month effective April First. Seconded by <br />Mrs. Swanson. Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk had made up a proposed equipment code for Mrs. Swanson to put before <br />the Personnel Commission. Mrs. Swanson asked the Clerk if she had made up a <br />card file on this equipment yet; the Clerk said No, not until the code met <br />with approval. Mrs. ,cwanson will take this to the Personnel Commission; she <br />wanted the Clerk to begin the card file to keep track of ho,; much is spent. <br />She thought the code looked pretty good. <br />The Clerk gave written notice that she would be out of town and absent on the <br />
