Motion carried unanimously. <br />United Tire had been scheduled for an appearance before the Board but had not been <br />represented. The Clerk was instructed to contact Mr. Furlong, who,: is the apparent <br />owner of the property and request that he appear at the May meeting. <br />Pine Vista 11 had been considered and the Board had suggested an easement for fut- <br />ure street purposes. Mr. Chuck Nelson was in the audience and had made the suggested <br />changes. He presented the Council with a revised plat. <br />Mr. Locher questioned the word 'proposed' in :relationship to the street easements. <br />He suggested this word be deleted. Mr. Nelson had no objections. <br />The Planning and Zoning Board had recommended approval of this plat with the suggested <br />changes. Since the changes have been made, Mr. McLean moved to approve this plat, <br />with the deletion of the word 'proposed'. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />There was a question of the proposed ponding area. Mr. Gotwald's notes were consulted <br />and this area is considered as temporary to be eliminated with the development of the <br />lands to the North and East. <br />Mr. McLean moved to set a public hearing for this plat for May 9, 1977 at 8:30 P.M. <br />Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Ardel Johnson had requested a variance for the splitting of his lot located on <br />the corner of Lakeview and Glenview. He would be creating two lots of approximately <br />.42 acres. The Planning and Zoning Board had recommended approval of this variance. <br />Mr. McLean so moved. Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The proposed plat of Rice Lake Addition had been considered by the Planning and Zon- <br />ing Board. This plat must have the recommendations of the Anoka County Highway De- <br />partment and the Rice Creek Watershed Board. The Planning and Zoning Board had re- <br />commended approval of this plat with the above approvals, also a change in one of <br />the street names. <br />Mr. McLean moved to accept this preliminary plat subject to comments from the Rice <br />Creek Watershed Board and the Anoka County Highway Department and with the street name <br />change, deleting the word 'proposed' on the easements. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Mo- <br />tion, carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to set the public hearing for May 23, 1977 at 8:30 P.M. Seconded <br />by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Plat West Oaks had been presented to the Board for consideration as a prelimin- <br />ary plat. The preliminary plat seems to be well laid out and the Board felt they could <br />accept it. There had been some suggested changes and Mr. Bruggeman had made the changes <br />and presented the Council with the revised maps. Mr. Burggeman is aware of the many <br />agencies that he must clear before this can be developed. He asked the Council for <br />approval of the concept, thus giving him the go ahead to clear these agencies. He <br />felt this would take approximately 60 days. He asked the public hearing be set for <br />the latter part of June. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the preliminary plat as presented subject to obtaining <br />approval of the various governmental agencies necessary, and to set the public hear- <br />ing for June 27, 1977 at 8:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Karth. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
