After some discussion
Mr. Cardinal moved to authorize the Attorney to do whatever was necessary to collect
the $128.50 from Mr. Blomquist and the $92.79 from Mr. Tom Anderson. Seconded by
Mr. Rosengren. Carried.
The Clerk mentioned that no money was yet forthcoming from Mr. George Smith on the
rezoning fees; her letter stipulated that the money was due Dec. 26th. It was
decided that we would wait on this.
The Clerk mentioned that she had heard nothing from Al Stein on his rezoning fees.
Mr. Jaworski moved that a follow -up letter be sent to Mr. Stein reminding him that
the fees were overdue and that if they were not received the matter would be
pursued further. Mr. Locher
stated that the name of the insured was incorrect in spelling, that there was no
cancellation clause for notification in the policy, that the date of coverage was
off by one day and that the policy included an assault exclusion which he felt
should be deleted. Otherwise, the bond was okay and the policy Limits were fine.
After discussion Mr. L'Allier moved that a letter be sent to the insurance agent
with a copy to Mr. Busch requiring that the date on the policy be changed to read,
December 8, 1969, that the name read Chomonix Country Club, Inc., that a cancellation
notice of 10 days clause be inserted and that the assault exclusion be deleted.
Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Cardinal reported that Meyers Sign Service had requested a special use permit
to put up three billboards along 135W on the Herbert Schmuck property. Mr. Locher
pointed out the area on the map and stated that there was plenty of space for the
signs. Mr. Bob Foreman of the company stated that they had moved as far west as
possible to allow the company with the lease on the next property to have sufficient
space for a sign. Mr. Locher mentioned that the P&Z had questioned the 15 year
lease on the property; this would make no difference however, since the signs are
subject to an annual fee and can be turned down at that time if necessary.
Mr. Cardinal moved on the P&Z recommendation that Meyer Sign Service (with loc-
ations of signs as on accompanying map) be granted a special use permit to erect
three signs on the Herbert Schmuck property along 135W located in lots 6, 13, 16,
(re. and Sub.
