Mr. Menkveld had <br />written permission from the surrounding landowners on 3 sides of one parcel <br />(most northerly) to erect a trailer court. He stated that he would request 1 court <br />but would take 3 on all parcels if necessary. It was noted that the legals hadn *t <br />been presented to the P&Z. After discussion Mr. Bohjanen moved that the P&Z <br />look at this first and make a recommendation to the Council. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Carried. Mr. Locher noted that this does require a hearing and he would <br />get going on the notices. Mr. Cardinal noted that the P&Z thought it better if <br />sewer and water were taken care of first. Mr. Menkveld stated that the Village <br />permit was necessary before he could go to the PCA and that said permit would have <br />to accompany the State application. Mr. L'Allier felt we should have an indica- <br />tion from the PCA as in the Jandric case before we give consideration to a <br />permit. Mr. Menkveld stated that he had a letter from the PCA stating that this <br />permit was necessary first. He was told to bring the letter to the next P&Z <br />meeting on Jan. 21. Mr. Bohjanen wished copies of the legal descriptions be made <br />for members. Mr. Menkveld should come before the Council on Jan. 26 and the <br />hearings could be done at that time. <br />Mr. Cardinal mentioned that the Deputy Clerk had resigned and that the Clerk <br />should send a thank you note for the fine work she had done. Mr. Cardinal also <br />told the Council that the reason Mrs. Olson had resigned was that she was taking <br />a business course which met on Wednesday evenings. <br />Mr. Jaworski made a motion, on Mr. Cardinal's suggestion, that he be authorized <br />to negotiate with Mr. Molitor to get an extension of the option on the Lake <br />Amelia property; that they would try to get this for another year or as long as <br />can be gotten; that Lino Lakes would pay from a minimum of $1 to $100 for said <br />extension unless they need more. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Motion carried with <br />Mr. Bohjanen voting no. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved to authorize Mr. Locher to draw up the necessary papers for <br />the extension. .Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried with Mr. Bohjanen again voting <br />no. <br />After discussion, Mr. Cardinal moved to send a letter to the owner of the Skelly <br />Station asking him to remove the junk cars on his property. Seconded by Mr. <br />Rosengren. Carried. Mr. Myhre noted that the owner had contacted the car owners <br />to remove the cars already. <br />Mr. McShannock mentioned that if they wanted to see junk cars they could look <br />next to his house. He was told to contact the officers. Mr. Jaworski asked <br />Mr. Myhre about the junk cars on Sunset north of the freeway. The owner was told <br />to move them and some are gone. <br />Mr. Cardinal mentioned that the P&Z had discussed a complaint that the floor joists <br />in Ken Rehbein's prefab homes were not adequate. It was suggested that Twin City <br />Testing run tests on these to see how they hold up after a period of time. After <br />discussion it was decided that Mr. Rehbein be contacted on this matter and that <br />he bring all available statistics and specifications on the floor joists. <br />Mr. Jaworski stated that due to lack of a quorum there had been no' Park Board <br />meeting. <br />Mr. Jaworski mentioned that at the last Council meeting he had been asked to get <br />another bid on lights for the hockey rink at Sunrise Park. He had been unable to <br />get one since all contractors are too busy to bother. However, he had a written <br />
