Mr. Bohjanen moved to adjourn the hearing at 9:04 p.m. Mr. Locher noted, after some
further discussion, that if the Council determines at the next meeting to rezone the
3 acre parcel, that they could continue indefinitely the hearing on the remainder
of the acreage.. Mr.
Jaworski bed received additional correspondence from the Utilities Committee of the
Anoka County Assn. of Municipalities concerning a resolution on North Central passed
by Coon Rapids. The Assn. had tabled the matter however until a reply from the
Company is received on this resolution. Mr. Bohjanen stated that he had talked,
with Mr. Donovan who stated that he was preparing detailed material on the rates. '
Mr L'Allier mentioned that the rate increase had t gone into effect yet, that this
was a statewide proposal with a canned ordinance sent out to all communities. Mr.
Bohjanen stated that different rate proposals would be made based on density of
population. Also, North Central would like to come and talk with us before we do
anything on the Association resolution. Mr, Bohjanen moved to table the matter until
we get the differences with our present contract. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal`. Carried
unanimously.
