2/8/71 <br />mi. GotwPld mentioned that the PCA had set new standards for treatment plants which <br />are much stricter than the Minn. Health Dept.'s. After investigation of the plant <br />'At the Treatment Center some (A4000 had been allocated for change of its facilities <br />Gotwald stated that a Metro line to the Center may be extended. Segel of the St. Paul waterworks for <br />the portion of the outlot in La'otte;s Add'n No. 2. This involves the piece <br />from the old property line to the fence line. After considerable discussion <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to authorize the Mayor and clerk to sign the necessary <br />papers to deed the piece to the Water Dept, Seconded by-Mr. Jaworski. <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mr. cardinal moved to'reject the purtthese of the Paymaster check protector <br />since the ooncensus was that it was unnecessary. Seconded by xr. Rosengren. <br />Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. L'Allier noted that after meeting with the County Health Dept. And discussing <br />the agreement which hed been drawn up concerning our health enforcement, we had <br />found that they would use our ordinances And no fee would be charged. Mr. L'Allier <br />moved to pass a resolution Authorizing the Anoka County Health Dept. to proceed <br />ae per the agreement end to authorize the signing of the agreement. Seconded by <br />Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />The Centerville fire contract was discussed at length. Mr. L'Q11ier roved that <br />a letter be written to Centerville indicating that we.agree tentatively with <br />the eontreet, but that we wish the same wording (put in verbatim) on the rights <br />to collect fees es in the 1970 contract. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried Unan. <br />.after discussion Mr. Jaworski moved to approve Texington fire contract as <br />submitted. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen.: Carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved to Authorize the purchase of a desk, similar to that in the <br />Police office, and a secretarial chair for the4ssessor's office. Seconded by <br />Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. <br />The Clerk was instructed to call a repairman to fix the calculator. Mrs. Sarner <br />indicated that there was no rush on this as her'main work will start in Sept. <br />Mr. Cardinal asked 'bout closing in the front of the Council table. Mr. Bohjanen <br />will check with Mtr. Zastrow on this. <br />
