4 ( ) <br />A letter from NSSSD concerning our request for installation of the line in <br />North Road was read, this denying our request as the timeing was too close <br />and the cost of restoring the road would not be great enough to justify in- <br />terrupting the present contract. Mir. Bohjanen stated that a close eye <br />should be kept on this in the near future. <br />A letter from insurance agent Robert C. Johnson concerning workmen's comp- <br />ensation coverage under the mutual aid agreement and also concerning Civil <br />Defense members was read. The Clerk was instructed to have copies made of <br />the letter and these sent to the Council as well as Robert Raymond and Ken- <br />neth Bryant. <br />A special insurance form for Civil Defense members sent by James Ray was pre- <br />sented to the Council. However, the Clerk was instructed to write to Mr. Ray <br />asking for rates on coverage similar to that under workmen's compensation. <br />An answer from Springated, Inc. on potential economic impact on Lino Lakes <br />considering the Isanti site for the airport was read. <br />A request for a future liquor license by a client of Ackerberg and Assoc., Inc. <br />was read. They would like a license to be issued without payment of the fee <br />until such time as the establishment is built. Mr. Bohjanen moved that copies <br />of Ordinance 31 and 31A be sent to them, and telling them they need at least <br />one residency in the Village and the attorney had stated that the license couldn't <br />be issued without the fees; and that we ask them for more definite information. <br />Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. The matter was tabled. <br />Signing of the mutual aid agreement by Anoka and Columbia Heights was ack- <br />nowledged by the County Attorney. <br />A letter from a John Landers concerning an incident at Sunrise Park with his <br />auto was read. He wished to know whether Village insurance would pay for <br />damages to the oar. Motion by Mr. Rosengren, seconded by Mr. Cardinal to <br />refer the matter to James Ray. Carried. <br />A letter from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency was read concerning <br />Federal funds for sewage treatment projects: no action taken. <br />A letter from the Metropolitan Council on housing census was read. Motion by <br />Mr. Jaworski, seconded by Mr. Bohjanen to table the matter. Carried. . <br />Several applications for liquor and beer licenses were presented with Mr. Locher <br />stating that none of these were accompanied by oopiee of insurance policies <br />containing the 10-day notice of cancellation clause. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved that the applications submitted by Nathe Bros., Inc. <br />049' Club) for on -sale, Sunday on -sale, dancing and off -sale 3.2 beer be <br />accepted provided that the forms are completely signed and notarized and that <br />proof .of insurance is shown; licenses to be issued upon receipt of payment, <br />of the fees to the Clerk. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski.. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to accept the on and off -sale 3.2 beer license application <br />from Luther's Sport Shop, no insurance policy needed for this.
