65 <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to authorize Mr. Rosengren to contact Mr. Schifsky to begin the <br />prime and seal - coating work at his bid of $2,291.50. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal also moved that we contact Mr. Schifsky about sealing the two skating <br />rinks, this to be paid out of Park and Playround funds. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Carried. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved to have Mr. Schifsky put oil on Aqua Lane as far as just below <br />the Kelling hill (residents past that point can request and pay for the oil if they <br />wish), this being estimated at 1000 gallons, costing $150 -200. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Carried. The Village will blacktop the bridges. <br />Mr. Gotwald mentioned that he had studied the layout for the proposed trailer park <br />by Chuck Larson on 35W on Fred Rehbein property and that he had found some of the <br />lots werenot up to size, he will talk to Mr. Larson's surveyor. He suggested that <br />the matter at present be sent to the P&Z to consider for rezoning and petitions <br />signed later. <br />Mr. Bohjanen then moved that the matter of Chuck Larson's proposed trailer court be <br />refered to the P&Z. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr. Gotwald stated that the topography maps could be waived on Cecil LaMstte's plat, <br />but that he should provide tentative sketches for layout further west in his draw- <br />ings and show the proper streets. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved that we accept the State's diagram for fencing along 35W subject <br />to Mr. Gotwald's approval. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Locher had received the legal description from Mr. Harold Hansen for his drive- <br />way which he wished to have the Village take voer for partial maintenance. According <br />to Mr. Gotwald, the roadway was up to specifications with the possible exception <br />of the depth of the gravel. After much discussion of whether the road should be <br />sealed, whether the Village ought to take it over and how much maintenance should be <br />done as well as future problems as the land abuting the road is built up, the Council <br />was reminded that the minutes, of 1967 showed that the Village would take it over <br />once the legal description was provided. Also, last fall the Engineer recommended <br />that this be one of the roads which we accept for partial maintenance. <br />Bohjanen moved that the Council accept Mr. Harold Hansen's roadway for partial <br />maintenance as described under Section 15 of Ordinance 20 (snowplowiing when neces- <br />sary and blading on request by residents after approval by the road department) as <br />previously agreed with Mr. Hansen and on record; with the provision that Mr. Gotwald <br />would first check the gravel on the roadway and would contact Mr. Hansen to add <br />more gravel if necessary before any building permit would be issued to Mr. Issacson <br />or the Village accept such road for blacktopping and partial maintenance; also, <br />the Village Attorney will draw up a legal document for signing by Mr. Hansen per- <br />taining to partial maintenance and stating that we have no other committments <br />concerning said roadway, no maintenance to be done until such signature is ob- <br />tained. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Vote: Aye--Mr. Jaworski, Mr. Cardinal, Mr. <br />Bohjanen and Mr. L'Allier; No--Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr. Bohjanen made a motion to grant a variance to Mr. Edwin Isakson to build a <br />home on Otter Lake on property abuting the Hansen driveway having the following <br />legal description: The east 110 feet of the West 610 feet of that part of <br />Government Lot 7, Section 31, North, Range 22 Wewt, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />lying South of the North 1031.86 feet thereof. Together with a road ease - <br />ment over the South 60 feet of the North 1031.86 feet of the West 610 feet <br />of said Government Lot 7. <br />
