1 <br />109 <br />Mr. Rosengren was authorized to see that someone put the map into the frame and <br />cover it with plastic. Small copies of the map were recommended to be sold at <br />25 each. <br />Mr. Gotwald also presented the proposed zoning map, showing two large areas of <br />industrial zoning as well as areas for multiple dwellings, etc. Mr. Jaworski moved <br />that this proposed zoning map be returned to the P&Z Board by way of a letter from <br />the Clerk to Mr. Cardinal, giving the explanation of the urban codes, etc. asking <br />the P&Z to work from it and come up with recommendations for comprehensive zoning <br />by a target date of September 1969. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. Mr. Car- <br />dinal commended the P&Z and Mr. Gotwald for their work on this map. <br />Mr. Rollie Anderson, County Surveyor, spoke on the tie- corners being placed in Lino <br />Lakes, telling of the difficulties where the lakes are involved, etc. He stated that <br />84 per cent of thecorners are now tied in the Centerville and Lino Lakes,area; the <br />crew had made a good gain in 1968. He presented reaps showing the corners presently tied <br />for the county as well as several other new highway maps. He asked that the County <br />be advised whenever sewer work or other work involving earthmoving equipment beinvolved <br />so that the corners tan be protected. <br />Mr. Rosengren moved that the Clerk order three sets of plat map covers from the County <br />at a cost of $4.80 per set. Mr. Anderson will give these to Mr. Locher to deliver. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />The Park Board minutes were read. Mr. Jaworski read a list of accomplishments of the <br />Park Board in 1968 and thanked the Park Board for their endeavors. <br />After discussion of the snowmobile problem in the parks (killing seedlings, etc.), Mr. <br />Jaworski moved that signs be put up and notice put in the paper that snowmobiles and <br />motorcycles be banned from the park properties. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski stated that Mrs. Forrest Tagg had resigned from the Park Board due to <br />lack of time to attend the meetings. No successor was recommended. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved that a letter be written to the State Highway Department asking that <br />the snowplow crews exercise more care in plowing the intersection of 326 and Fourth <br />since the north side of the intersection is always blocked after the plowing. Seconded <br />by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />Mr. Bohjanen reported that the C&BDC were still considering the plumbing code- -when <br />they are finished they will turn the booklet over to the P&Z. The Lexington Fire <br />Department will burn the house at Elm and Highway 8 on December 28 or 29 if there is <br />no snowstorm. The building is the second oldest building in Anoka County, having once <br />served as a way station and post office at a different location. <br />Mr. Bohjanen reported that the survey was finished on the questionaire sent out to <br />persons who had requested to build businesses in Lino Lakes and then changed their <br />minds. The results of the questionaire were presented in a letter, part of which <br />was read. Mr. Bohjanen then asked that the C&BDC be allowed to meet with both the <br />Engineer and the bonding consultant sometime in January ,.or February so that policies <br />of both could be set forth to businesses. After discussion it was decided that the <br />12 persons answering the questionaire be invited to attend a meeting with the <br />Engineer, Bonding Consultant and the Council. <br />Mr. Bohjanen also stated that the brochure was ready for a rough draft and a letter <br />is being prepared. <br />
