Page 3 paragraph two -- cross out 'we' insert ' Jandric', <br />paragraph 5 -- after Mr. Bohjanen insert 'stating that there was only $2500 <br />difference in cost between our policing and the County offer for the rest of <br />1969 and looking at the long -range view he felt County policing should be con- <br />sidered for 1970, therefore requesting', cross out'giving him a motion of in- <br />tent to incorporate the system in 1970, providing" therefore requesting', last <br />paragraph -- cross out 'was under consideration in the House', insert 'had <br />passed the House'. Page four -- paragraphfive -- change 'to agricultural' to <br />'from agricultural', cross out 'since it could cause a change in the site from <br />Ham Lake', insert 'feeling that it was necessary to have proper zoning in order <br />to maintain an airport.' <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to accept the May 12, 1969 minutes as corrected. Seconded <br />by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved that the minutes of the special meeting held on May 15 be <br />taken up at the next meeting as there had been insufficient time to read them <br />over. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />The Clerk read a letter dated May 19 from the Metro Council stating that a re- <br />view of Circle Pines Comprehensive Plan 1969 was planned; any objections to said <br />plan should be filed within 10 days to request a hearing. The Clerk was in- <br />structed to call the Metro Council to see when they planned to act on the Plan; <br />also to get a copy of the Plan from Circle Pines the next day so that the Council <br />could review it Tuesday evening at the Hall. If the Council felt it necessary, <br />a special meeting could be called to discuss the Plan and file for a hearing. <br />A letter from Sheriff Talbot, dated May 16, was read, stating that both Lexington <br />and Lino Lakes had turned down the proposed County policing plan for 1969, but <br />that he still hoped to formulate some figures so that the plan could be put in <br />effect for 1970. He suggested that each of the villages involved put a man on <br />a steering committee for contractual arrangements which could come up with <br />figures, services, etc. that are wanted and get these back to him in June or <br />July. He then could have a final proposal for the Councils in time for the budgets; <br />also, he would be glad' to serve on this committee. <br />A. letter from Mr. L. B. Bruder, of J & W Pickup Service, dated May 26 was read, <br />stating that he did not wish at this time to apply for a special use permit; <br />that he was in the process of cleaning up his property and would do so as time <br />permits. Mr. Myhre stated that police had been keeping an eye on the place <br />and that it was being cleaned up. Mr. L'Allier moved that a letter be sent to <br />Mr. Bruder, acknowledging his letter and indicating that the Council would like <br />to see the property completely cleaned up by July first. Seconded by Mr. Jawor- <br />ski. Carried unanimously. <br />A letter from the Anoka County Assn. of Municiplaities, date May 19, was read t, <br />announcing the annual election of officers as well as a discussion of the <br />County's fiscal and taxation problems, to be held May 28tH. <br />The Clerk presented the affidavit of publication for the ad of Assistant <br />Constable Wanted for May 23rd. <br />
