Mr. Cardinal moved to grant a permit to U.S. Lakes Development Co. to install one <br />sewage system for use in one of the model homes as requested. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Carried. This action was taken'since U.S. Lakes Development Co. had <br />previously indicated that they would install no sewage systems in their models. <br />Mr. Cardinal mentioned that there had been some comment on the time lapse in the <br />contract for the property on option from the Waldoch's. Mr. Cardinal will meet with <br />them next week and mentioned that in the interim we were saving some interest. <br />Mr. Cardinal asked about the procedure on raising the misdemeanor fines for <br />ordinance violations. After an explanation by Mr. Locher, Mr. Cardinal moved to <br />authorize the Attorney to draw up an ordinance amending all previous ordinances <br />containing a pentalty of $100.00 fine for violation by changing the amount of this <br />fine to $300,00 as authorized by the 1969 Legislature. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Carried. <br />Jaworski stated that he had gotten two more bids on an International Low-Boy <br />Cub Tractor from the following: Peron Motors ' $1850 and Peterson International in <br />Anoka @ $1800, Both prices were for a machine equipped with flotation tires on <br />the rear and big tires on the front and including a 60@ mower. W. Jaworski then <br />moved that Lino Lakes purchase, for Parks use, an International Low-Boy Cub Tractor <br />from Peterson International at $1800.00. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved that the Council send a resolution to the County Commissioners <br />asking them to complete the road around Centerville Lake to the Park on out to <br />Centerville Rd.; and also request what the status of the road work is for 1969. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved that a letter be sent to the Conservation Dept. (Divisions of <br />Game & Fish and Waters, Soils & Minerals) telling them of our concern about the <br />water level in Reshanau Lake, asking that something be done before winter so that <br />there will be no winter-kill of the fish; for example, removing the fish and <br />restocking later or pumping water in, asking them for some assurance that the <br />water will come back. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Bohjanen asked <br />why Jandric is dredging at so many spots in the lake. Mr. L'Allier stated that he <br />had talked with members of the Conservation Dept. and would meet with them this <br />week; also Mr. Gotwald would be present. <br />Mr, Rosengren arrived. <br />Mr. Jaworski asked lt,„ Locher if he had heard any more on the Baldwin Lake property <br />agreement. Mk.. Locher had talked to the attorney for the St. Paul Water Dept. and <br />is trying to set a meeting. <br />Mr. Jaworski gave Mr. Locher the proposed material for an underground utilities <br />ordinance. Mr. Gotwald stated that a representative from NSP will be at the next <br />meeting. Mr. Jaworski then moved that the adoption of an underground utilities <br />ordinance be tabled until the next meeting. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />A copy of the proposed ordinance will be sent to NSP. <br />Mr, Bohjanen reported that the C&BDC had been short due to the storm warnings that <br />evening. He asked whether anything had been done yet about the dust problem on <br />4th Ave. Mr. Rosengren replied that he would take up the matter in his report. <br />Crystal Ablman asked how she would go about getting a permit for the trailer park <br />she is promoting. Mr. Locher explained that rezoning and a special use permit <br />would be necessary. <br />
