- 236 <br />COUNCIL MEETING SEPTEMBER 14, 1992 <br />Consideration of a Speed Study Request for Birch Street near the <br />Rice Lake Elementary School - The Centennial School District has <br />requested that a speed study be conducted on Birch Street. <br />Procedures require that the City request that Anoka County <br />conduct this study. <br />Property owners in this area have expressed safety concerns <br />regarding the existing speed limit near the new elementary <br />school. The speed study would take from one (1) to three (3) <br />months to be completed. <br />Council Member Elliott moved to request the speed study. Council <br />Member Kuether seconded the motion and asked that it be <br />expedited. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Council Member Kuether moved to adjourn at 9:10 P.M. Council <br />Member Bergeson seconded the motion.
