1P, <br />COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER 11, 1993 <br />assessed are those for lateral benefit from the improvements <br />installed under the Apollo Drive project and future wear course <br />costs. The total proposed assessment is $329,170.38. <br />There were no questions from the City Council or from the <br />audience. <br />Birch Wood Acres Second Addition - Mr. Heth explained that the <br />subdivision consists of 38 lots, four (4) outlots and three (3) <br />park lots. It is located on the south side of Birch Street at <br />West Shadow Lake Drive. This project is developer financed and <br />all construction related costs are paid directly by the <br />developer. Costs to be assessed are actual reassessments for <br />Area and Connection and Surface Water Management Planning as well <br />as interest. The total proposed assessment is $176,016.92. <br />There were no questions from the City Council or from the <br />audience. <br />Birch Wood Acres Third Addition - Mr. Heth explained that the <br />subdivision consists of 34 lots, one (1) outlot and two (2) park <br />lots. The property is located to the south of Birchwood Acres <br />Second Addition. This project is developer financed and all <br />construction costs are paid directly by the developer. Costs to <br />be assessed are for lateral benefits from Area and Connection and <br />Surface Water Management Planning. The total proposed assessment <br />is $174,427.99. <br />There were no questions from the City Council or from the <br />audience. <br />Black Duck Estates and Black Duck Estates Second Addition - Mr. <br />Heth explained that the two (2) subdivisions consist of 47 lots, <br />two (2) outlots and Parcel A and B. The property is located on <br />the north side of Birch Street west of Black Duck Drive. This <br />project is developer financed and all construction costs are paid <br />directly by the developer. Costs to be assessed are for lateral <br />benefits from the existing Trunk Watermain Area and Connection <br />Fund. The total proposed assessment is $48,896.51. <br />Mr. Schneider explained that this subdivision was approved before <br />the new policy regarding surface water management was approved. <br />Therefore, the developer is being given full credit up to what <br />would be the Surface Water Management charges for completing all <br />the ponding and drainage work himself. <br />There were no questions from the City Council or from the <br />audience. <br />PAGE 7 <br />
