Motion carried unanimously. <br />Fiscal Agent - Council Member Elliott moved to appoint <br />Springsted, Inc. as fiscal agent. Council Member Kuether <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Animal Control - Council Member Kuether moved to appoint the <br />Anoka County Humane Society as animal control. Council Member <br />Elliott seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Legal Depository - Mr. Schumacher asked that the City Council <br />delay action on this matter until March 14, 1994. <br />Economic Development Authority Advisory Board - Mr. Schumacher <br />asked that this appointment be delayed pending further <br />information from the chairman of the board. <br />Council Liaison Appointments - Mayor Reinert said he would like <br />to combine Parks and Recreation and appoint one (1) liaison for <br />this department. He also noted that the Public Works Department <br />may be expanded. Motion carried <br />CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 06 DESIGNATING THE COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING 1994/1995 <br />Resolution No. 94 - 06 details the allocation of the 1994/1995 <br />Community Development Block Grant funds. These are federal funds <br />administered through Anoka County for which the City is able to <br />distribute to local organizations or services. These <br />organizations or services must generally provide assistance to <br />the elderly, disabled or low income residents. <br />Mayor Reinert noted that the City Council was concerned that the <br />organizations requesting funding provide services to residents in <br />Lino Lakes. It was determined that all organizations named in <br />the resolution do serve Lino Lakes residents. <br />PAGE 11 <br />
