1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />199 <br />COUNCIL MEETING MAY 9, 1994 <br />lots on the lake side of the development that had wetlands in the <br />middle of the lots and the buildable area did not meet City Code. <br />There had also been a problem concerning the trail connection to <br />the west. Mr. Schneider explained that several lots were omitted <br />from the plat thus making the remaining lots larger and <br />correcting the problem. Several other lots were removed and used <br />for sedimentation basins. Mr. Granger, developer of the plat <br />explained that there will be no bridges or walkways on individual <br />lots. <br />Mr. Schneider explained that the sewer line in Phase I will be <br />extended east to the cul-de-sac to serve Living Waters Lutheran <br />Church. <br />Council Member Kuether moved to approve the final plat for Phase <br />I of Country Lakes Estates. Council Member Neal seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of SECOND READING, Ordinance No. 07 - 94, Rezone <br />from Rural to R-18 for Contractors Property Developers Company, <br />Pheasant Hills Preserve East - The preliminary plat for Pheasant <br />Hills Preserve East was approved at the April 25, 1994 Council <br />meeting. At that time the first reading of Ordinance No. 07 - 94 <br />rezoning the property was approved. The property is intended to <br />become part of the Pheasant Hills Preserve development <br />immediately to the west and north and which is also zoned R -1X. <br />There have been not comments regarding this matter. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to adopt the SECOND READING of <br />Ordinance No. 07 - 94 rezoning Pheasant Hills Preserve East. <br />Council Member Kuether seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 07 - 94 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, HODGSON ROAD TRUNK WATER MAIN <br />Mayor Reinert opened the public hearing at 6:58 P.M. <br />Mr. Schneider explained that Mr. Powell will present the <br />information regarding this proposed improvement. A public <br />informational meeting was held on May 3, 1994 at city hall with <br />the residents along the proposed watermain improvement. Mr. <br />Powell, Ms. Wyland and approximately 12 residents attended the <br />meeting. <br />Mr. Powell briefly described the project to the residents and <br />explained that no adjoining property owner would be assessed.
