COUNCIL WORK SESSION APRIL 17,1996 <br />Questionnaires will be reviewed and a work plan developed that would include among <br />other items, appreciation and rewards. <br />Council will be kept updated on this matter. <br />REGULAR AGENDA <br />6:30 p.m., Continuation of Public Hearing, Centennial Middle School Street and <br />Utility Improvement - Mr. Ahrens explained that at the public hearing, he will present <br />all proposals for access to the Middle School. The School District will present their <br />proposals. Input from the residents will then be accepted. Once all of this is completed, <br />the Council will close the public hearing and wait at least 10 days before approving the <br />project. <br />Council discussed what access option would be the most appropriate for the Middle <br />School. Staff explained that Council does not have to make a decision on Monday <br />evening and can even ask for additional input. They are looking for a <br />place to hold the circus. One possible location is the vacant field south of Swan's Ice <br />Cream on Lake Drive. <br />This matter will be added to the agenda Monday evening. <br />The Council took a five (5) minute break. <br />Hiring Police Personnel - Chief Pecchia outlined each of the four (4) positions to be <br />filled and gave Council Members a packet of information outlining how the positions will <br />be funded.
