The cost could be $4,000 to <br />$7,000. <br />Staff was directed to prepare specifications for a fresh air system and advertise for bids. <br />Staff was also directed to determine if air quality is a concern at the Police Department <br />building and the Parks and Recreation building. <br />This matter will be brought back to the Council when bids have been received. <br />CONSIDERATION ACCEPTING TRAIL EASEMENT, CLEARWATER CREEK, <br />MARY KAY WYLAND <br />When the Clearwater Creek subdivision was approved by Council, a trail was shown <br />running along the west border of the subdivision. Staff showed Council pictures of the <br />area and noted that if the trail is to be constructed as platted, an old grove of trees would <br />have to be removed. <br />Council discussed relocating a portion of the trail to the east side of - of trees. <br />This would place the trail closer to the new homes that will be ► - ed • ° those lots. <br />The Council also discussed moving the trail outside of the v' ' n. F oted that <br />there is a home in this area. The noise from the <br />did not reach levels that would require a citation. <br />Conditional Use rmit, Dean Quimby, 7313 Lake Drive - Although this area is zoned <br />properly for Mr. Quimby's automotive repair shop, a CUP is needed to allow out -door <br />storage of vehicles waiting to be repaired or serviced. <br />UPDATE ON SEPTIC MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS, PETE KLUEGEL <br />The City adopted an ordinance requiring that all septic systems be pumped and inspected <br />every three (3) years. Staff mailed the first septic system compliance notices, which <br />requires that the first inspection be performed before September 15th of this year. There <br />has been good response to this notice. The septic pumpers have indicated that they have a <br />backlog of pumping requests and will not be able to do all their inspections before the <br />September 15th deadline. Staff asked that the deadline be extended one month. <br />• Council directed staff to prepare an ordinance extending the deadline to October 15th. <br />This matter will be added to the September 22nd Council agenda. <br />PAGE 3 <br />
