They wish to keep the balance of the land for future development. <br />Some Council Members expressed concern about septic system failures on the newly <br />created smaller parcels. <br />Item 5E, Telecommunication Ordinance - Ms. Wyland explained that if this item is not <br />considered by Council at the December 15th meeting, the Council should extend the <br />moratorium. <br />SETTING ROAD ALIGNMENT, 21ST STREET, DAVID AHRENS <br />Twenty-first Street is a boundary street between the City of Ce <br />Lino Lakes. Centerville's request for a connection to the Lino <br />Lakes water utility o discussed. <br />Mr. Ahrens was dire d to bring a request for a feasibility report for 21st Street to the <br />Council after the first of the year. <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING THE PARK BOARDS DESIRE TO PURSUE A <br />BOND REFERENDUM IN 1998, GEORGE LINDY, PARK BOARD CHAIRMAN <br />The Park Board has been considering suitable sites that could be purchased by the City <br />for the development of an athletic complex. Approximately 60 to 80 acres is needed for <br />this facility. <br />All developable land in Lino Lakes is quickly disappearing. Therefore, if the City is <br />interested in an athletic complex site, the City should purchase the land while some fairly <br />large parcels still remain and before the cost is prohibitive.
