COUNCIL WORK SESSION JULY 9, 1997 <br />Staff will prepare a written proposal for the Town Center and bring the proposal before <br />the various City boards and committees. <br />DISCUSSION OF EXISTING ADVISORY BOARDS, DAN TESCH <br />Mr. Tesch presented a handout and asked Council to review it and give him their <br />comments. The handout included an explanation of the authority of each board or <br />commission such as the Park Board and the Planning and Zoning Board were created by <br />the City Code. <br />The duties of the Environmental Affairs Committee were discussed and it was noted that <br />the duties of this committee overlap the duties of the Park Board. There will be further <br />discussion to define the duties of each of these two (2) entities. The discussion will <br />include the relationship between the Environmental Affairs Committ <br />Environmental Affairs/Forestry staff person. <br />DIANE TURNER UPDATE, MICHAEL KRECK <br />Ms. Turner lives on Sunset Road north of I35W . e ste as failed and she has <br />asked staff to determine the feasibility of ex •ung utility services to her lot. <br />Ms. Turner was present and told C•• • -a d for utility services. <br />Staff provided maps of the <br />designed to be subdivi <br />of the homes on t <br />difficult. Council is scheduled to consider implementing a HRA <br />in September.
