• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION NOVEMBER 3,1999 <br />YMCA UPDATE, MARY ALICE DIVINE <br />Staff advised the YMCA is still in the process of fund raising. They are also putting <br />together a Charter Board of Directors. 'The development agreement has also been <br />discussed. The YMCA has agreed to have a designated seat on the Board of Directors <br />specifically for a City representative. Committees will be formed to advise on different <br />aspects of the project such as facilities and programming. The YMCA has agreed that the <br />City may participate in those committees. Staff added that a draft of the development <br />agreement will be presented to Council upon completion. <br />DISCUSS LAMBRECHT VARIANCE, JEFF SMYSER <br />Mayor Sullivan advised the concern relating to this issue was the application and <br />consistency of variances. The City Attorney has advised Council they must be consistent <br />regarding variances. <br />Staff advised they have not been contacted by Mr. Lambrecht r <br />e <br />Council directed staff to contact Mr. Lambrecht.
