CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MARCH 8, 2000 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, BRIAN WESSEL/JEFF SMYSER Staff advised a tentative meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 21, 2000, 5:30 p.m., to discuss the Comprehensive Plan. MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT WITH HUGO/CENTERVILLE, LINDA WAITE SMITH Staff referred to a proposed Mutual Aid Agreement between the City of Hugo, the City of Centerville, and the City of Lino Lakes for the provision of emergency repairs of maintenance of any member's municipal water or sanitary sewer system. The City requesting assistance will reimburse the City(s) who provides assistance for all costs and expenses incurred. The receiving City also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the sending City(s), its officers, agents, and employees against any and all costs, damages, and claims arising from any negligent act of the sending City's employee. The City Attorney has reviewed the agreement. Staff noted the County w • fer any financial assistance for the Mallard Lane trail. Mayor Bergeson suggested this item be discussed when it is known if there is any revenue surplus from 1999. Staff advised the Finance Workshop has been scheduled for April 26, 2000. Preliminary figures should be known at that time. This item will be placed on the Finance work session Wednesday, April 26, 2000, 5:30 p.m. Council Member O'Donnell requested the Council discuss this item with the Homeowners Association before action is taken. 4
