CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MARCH 8, 2000 <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, BRIAN WESSEL/JEFF SMYSER <br />Staff advised a tentative meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 21, 2000, 5:30 <br />p.m., to discuss the Comprehensive Plan. <br />MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT WITH HUGO/CENTERVILLE, LINDA WAITE <br />SMITH <br />Staff referred to a proposed Mutual Aid Agreement between the City of Hugo, the City of <br />Centerville, and the City of Lino Lakes for the provision of emergency repairs of <br />maintenance of any member's municipal water or sanitary sewer system. <br />The City requesting assistance will reimburse the City(s) who provides assistance for all <br />costs and expenses incurred. The receiving City also agrees to indemnify and hold <br />harmless the sending City(s), its officers, agents, and employees against any and all costs, <br />damages, and claims arising from any negligent act of the sending City's employee. <br />The City Attorney has reviewed the agreement. <br />This item will appear on the regular Council agenda Mo <br />TRAIL STATISTICS/FUNDING MALLA <br />CK DEGARDNER <br />Staff advised there was discussion at t n ; 9 00, work session regarding the <br />Mallard Lane trail. Staff <br />noted the County w • fer any financial assistance for the Mallard Lane trail. <br />Mayor Bergeson suggested this item be discussed when it is known if there is any revenue <br />surplus from 1999. <br />Staff advised the Finance Workshop has been scheduled for April 26, 2000. Preliminary <br />figures should be known at that time. <br />This item will be placed on the Finance work session Wednesday, April 26, 2000, 5:30 <br />p.m. <br />Council Member O'Donnell requested the Council discuss this item with the <br />Homeowners Association before action is taken. <br />4 <br />
