• • • COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 13, 2000 Since the City of Lino Lakes has been through the process, the City of Hugo will be a host to this part of the project. GIS inventory will be addressed. This is a good opportunity to evaluate and enhance the City's present inventory. Another part of this program is to develop a guidebook to assist small acreage landowners in their resource management decisions. This project will address issues that the Lino Lakes inventory and Management Plan left open as future goals. Assistance with policy and code language that is relevant to conservation development is one of these goals. Staff referred to information from the DNR and a timetable of the project. The project would start now and proceed through the middle of 2001. Council Member Carlson inquired about a breakdown of funds for both cities. Staff advised they are unaware of a breakdown. The City of Lino Lakes will stress areas that it needs help in. The City of Hugo will be developing a preservation development process. Council Member Carlson inquired about a recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Board. Staff advised this program did not go through the Planning and Zoning Board. The City of Lino Lakes will not see any dollars. The funding will go to the DNR staffs' will be doing work in cooperation with City staff.
