• <br />• <br />• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 13, 2000 <br />Since the City of Lino Lakes has been through the process, the City of Hugo will be a host to this part <br />of the project. GIS inventory will be addressed. This is a good opportunity to evaluate and enhance <br />the City's present inventory. Another part of this program is to develop a guidebook to assist small <br />acreage landowners in their resource management decisions. This project will address issues that the <br />Lino Lakes inventory and Management Plan left open as future goals. Assistance with policy and <br />code language that is relevant to conservation development is one of these goals. <br />Staff referred to information from the DNR and a timetable of the project. The project would start <br />now and proceed through the middle of 2001. <br />Council Member Carlson inquired about a breakdown of funds for both cities. Staff advised they are <br />unaware of a breakdown. The City of Lino Lakes will stress areas that it needs help in. The City of <br />Hugo will be developing a preservation development process. <br />Council Member Carlson inquired about a recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Board. <br />Staff advised this program did not go through the Planning and Zoning Board. The City of Lino <br />Lakes will not see any dollars. The funding will go to the DNR staffs' will be doing work <br />in cooperation with City staff. <br />Council Member Carlson expressed concern regarding the C et ' into the scope of the <br />Planning and Zoning Board.
