• <br />• <br />COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 13, 2000 <br />Council Member Dahl moved to adopt Resolution No. 00 — 25, as presented. Council Member <br />O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 00 — 25 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 00 — 26, Accept Donations for Scoreboards at Sunrise Park (3/4 <br />Vote Required), Rick DeGardner — Staff advised the Park Department will be installing electronic <br />scoreboards at Sunrise Park Field #1 and Field #2. Staff received proposals from two (2) companies <br />and recommended that Aim Electronics be awarded this project. Staff referred to specifications for <br />the proposed scoreboards (Model BA -518). The scoreboard panel will be forest green with a white <br />border stripe. The approximate total costs of the scoreboards, cable, control console with carrying <br />case, beams freight, and sales tax is $5,464.35. <br />Two (2) local businesses, Fast Break Corner Market and Lino Lakes State Bank, have agreed to <br />contribute money to help defray the costs of this project. Each company will contribute $1,200. A 4' <br />x 4' advertising panel will be located adjacent to the scoreboard for a three (3) years. Juleen <br />Signs will be producing the advertising panels. <br />Council Member Dahl asked if there are any other electronic ithin the City. Staff <br />advised this project is the first within the City. <br />Council Member Carlson moved to adopt Resolu 6, as presented. Council Member <br />Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carrie <br />Resolution No. 00 — 26 can be fou ;_: A of ese minutes. <br />COMMUNITY DEVEL 1a ' ARTMENT REPORT, BRIAN WESSEL <br />FIRST READING, o. 04 — 00, Offering the Sale of Property in the Apollo Business <br />Park to Nol-Tec Syste n (3/4 Vote Required), Mary Alice Divine — Staff advised Nol-Tec <br />Systems in the Apollo B iness Park would like to purchase a .79 -acre City owned parcel just north <br />of the company's site. Staff referred to a map indicating the parcel. This is a remnant parcel between <br />Nol-Tec and the Fogerty development to the north. The company is interested in holding this site for <br />future expansion. The City and Nol-Tec agreed to a purchase price of $41,900, plus assessments. <br />Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve the FIRST READING of Ordinance No. 04 — 00, as <br />presented. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. <br />Council Member Carlson voted yea. Council Member Dahl voted yea. Council Member O'Donnell <br />voted yea. Mayor Bergeson voted yea. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
