COUNCIL MINUTES DECEMBER 18, 2000 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT, AL ROLEK Resolution No. 2000 —124, Amending the 2000 General Fund Budget, Al Rolek - Staff advised in 1999 the City Council accepted the 1998 Financial Report. This report identified excess revenues in the General Fund, of which the City Council designated $24,000 towards the purchase of voting machines. The machines were purchased in 2000. The Election capital outlay budget should be amended to reflect the purchase of the machines and the dollars will be taken from the General Fund Designated fund balance. (Staff referred to Schedule A, #1) Secondly, the 2000 General & Water Funds should be amended to record various Council actions throughout the year for salary adjustments and technology improvements in the amount of $75,675 to be funded by accumulated antenna lease revenues per Resolution No. 00 — 66. (Staff referred to Schedule A, #2) Finally, the proposed Black Duck trail extension budgeted in 2000 will not occur until 2001 following final acquisition of the easements. Staff recommends that the $50,000 bud eted for the extension in the 2000 General Fund budget be transferred to the Dedicated Parks ance the project in 2001. (Staff referred to Schedule A, #3) Council Member Dahl moved to adopt Resolution No. 2000 "nted. Council Member Reinert seconded the motion. Resolution No. 00 —125, Transfer transfer is made into the 1992 Bo sold to finance the West Cent from TIF funds to defray th ervice, Al Rolek — Staff advised each year a he deficit balance. These bonds were originally 19 `J` 5, funds were transferred to the Area and Unit Fund nk. The transfer is to cove aA'T ents only. The amount of the transfer would be $417,345. Council Member O'Don 11 moved to adopt Resolution No. 00 — 125, as presented. Council Member Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
