COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 8, 2001
Council Member O'Donnell moved to continue PUBLIC HEARING, Bluebill Ponds Utility and
Street Improvements, to the January 22, 2001, City Council meeting. Council Member Reinert
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
SECOND READING, Ordinance No. 17 — 00, Vacation of Lois Lane Right -of -Way at 7870
Country Lane, John Powell (4/5 Vote Required) — Staff advised Mr. Barry Przybylski of 7870
County Lane has requested vacation of the street right-of-way located at the northeast corner of his
property. The right-of-way to be vacated is that portion which was to accommodate construction of a
cul-de-sac. This right-of-way was secured as a part of the Mar Don Acres plat in 1978 and is no
longer necessary due to the recently developed Highland Meadows West plat. Lois Lane now
continues to the east of Mr. Przybylski's property and the cul-de-sac will not be needed.
Staff has published the vacation in the legal newspaper and the City Council has held the public
hearing and approved the first reading of the Ordinance on December 11, 2000. Mr. Przybylski is the
only affected property owner. In the staff's review of the request, staff sees no reason to keep this
right-of-way to the newly constructed extension of Lois Lane. Staff re eded approval of the
second reading of Ordinance No. 17 - 00.
Council Member Reinert moved to approve SECOND RE
presented.
