However, <br />Mr. Lyden did submit information regarding potential problems relating to EIFS material. <br />City Planner Smyser noted that Mr. Lyden has described his hardship as follows: <br />1. Pole barn type construction is preferable for this property due to questionable soils. <br />2. Pole barn type construction, without a cement floor is necessary to preserve 1958 mid - <br />engine all wood day cruiser due to moisture factors. <br />3. Pole barn type construction will reduce threat of loss from grass fires. <br />City Planner Smyser advised that in considering all requests for variance or appeal and in taking <br />subsequent action, the City shall make a finding of fact: <br />1. That the property in question cannot be put to a reasonable use if used under <br />conditions allowed by the official controls. <br />2. He asked for a <br />motion. <br />Council Member Dahl moved to adopt Resolution No. 2001— 02, approving the variance request due <br />to the hydric soils of a metal building. Council Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. <br />City Planner Smyser advised the Council must clarify how the resolution should be changed to <br />approve the variance request.
