COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 12,2001 Resolution No. 01— 24 can be found in the City Clerk's office. Accept Resignation of Officer, Police Chief Dave Pecchia (3/5 Vote Required) — Chief Pecchia advised Officer Travis Muyres has submitted a letter of resignation from the Lino Lakes Police Department citing his pursuit of other employment. He has accepted a position with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) as a conservation officer. Staff requested the City Council accepts Officer Muyres' resignation and wishes him well in his future endeavors. Chief Pecchia advised they anticipate beginning a selection process as soon as possible to replace the vacancy created by this resignation. Council Member O'Donnell moved to accept resignation from Officer Muyres, as presented. Council Member Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT Resolution No. 01— 27, Final Payment for 2000 Wear Course and (3/5 Vote Required) — City Engineer Powell advised the Contract Trail Paving Project is requesting City Approval of Payment N $25,431.25. The project included the paving of certain trails paving was done in new development.
