COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 12, 2001 <br />legal descriptions provided. Park Dedication funds will be used for the trail purchase and <br />construction. <br />The properties in question are Zoned R -1X and indicated as single family on the Land Use Map, <br />current and draft. Subdividing the properties as indicated will not affect the square foot lot <br />requirement of any of the parcels. <br />The Planning and Zoning Board reviewed this item at their January meeting and recommended <br />approval with the conditions outlined below. The Planning and Zoning Board did add conditions #6 <br />. <br />1. The City will assure perpetual access for the RPEHA to its outlots, including vehicular <br />access to the boat ramp. <br />2. Signage will be placed at the trailheads indicating that only authorized vehicles are <br />permitted. <br />3 The City will relieve the Association of its obligati ct to the Easement <br />and Option Agreement with the Shut's and the t ent with the Kuzel's. <br />4. The RPEHA will be responsible for any a en along the proposed path. <br />5. The City shall record the minor su with Anoka County. <br />6. Prior to constructing ` A must receive City approval. <br />7. Sings shall be icati g "public trail". <br />City Planner Smyser <br />a survey that will be attached to the resolution. <br />Council Member O'Do ed if the Homeowners Association and the homeowners have <br />reviewed the two (2) ad _ ional conditions. Public Services Director DeGardner advised the President <br />of the Homeowners Association is aware of the added conditions. <br />Mayor Bergeson asked if the City will be maintaining the portion of land that is within the County <br />Park. Public Services Director DeGardner stated at this point the City will be maintaining that <br />portion of land. However, that issue is still up for debate. <br />Mayor Bergeson stated a citizen has asked about paving the trail. Public Services Director DeGardner <br />stated the trail will be paved possibly as early as this spring. <br />Council Member Dahl stated this issue has taken a long time to resolve. She thanked everyone <br />involved for getting this done. <br />
