COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 12, 2001 <br />Mayor Bergeson inquired about the four (4) separate resolutions. City Planner Smyser advised there <br />are four (4) underlying properties. Each resolution is for a minor subdivision on each property. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to adopt Resolution No. 01 — 11, based on the conditions outlined in <br />the staff report. Council Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Council Member Carlson moved to adopt Resolution No. 01 — 12, based on the conditions outlined in <br />the staff report. Council Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Council Member Dahl moved to adopt Resolution No. 01-13, based on the conditions outlined in <br />the staff report. Council Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Council Member O'Donnell moved to adopt Resolution No. 01— 14, based on the conditions outlined <br />in the staff report. Council Member Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 01 — 11, 12, 13, and 14 can be found in the City Clerk's office. <br />Circle -Lex VFW, 7868 Lake Drive, CUP Extension, Resolutio <br />City Planner Smyser advised the Circle Lex VFW received ap <br />Conditional Use Permit on April 26, 1999 to allow the exp <br />Lake Drive. According to the Zoning Ordinance, both t <br />Conditional Use Permit section has specific refere <br />permit. If such activity is not completed within eighteen (18) months, the site <br />approval shall no longer be in effect, and application and approval of site and building <br />plans shall be required". <br />At this time, the Circle Lex VFW would like to extend both their Site Plan Review and CUP. They <br />have indicated, via Post Commander Dean Johnson, that a tentative construction date is set for the <br />summer of 2001. <br />City Planner Smyser advised Council that in April of 2001 this CUP approval will be two (2) years <br />old. If the Circle Lex VFW is certain construction will begin this spring, staff is recommending <br />approval of an extension until year end 2001. However, staff did receive a letter today from Dean <br />Johnson, asking Council to amend the request and extend the permit to April, 2002. City Planner <br />Smyser indicated staff has no objection to that request is recommends approval. <br />
