COUNCIL MINUTES FEBRUARY 26, 2001 <br />Council Member O'Donnell asked if the City will then have to pay for the study. City Engineer <br />Powell stated the developer will be charged for staff time. <br />Acting Mayor Dahl asked what will happen if the request is turned down. City Engineer Powell <br />stated staff will give the developer the best recommendation they can. More re -work will be required <br />without the study. The issue will then go back through the City Boards when the study is completed. <br />Staff must provide information to the developer even without the study. <br />Council Member Reinert stated it seems that there is a sense of urgency. He stated he does not want <br />to circumvent other Boards but sees no harm in approving the study. <br />Council Member O'Donnell stated he agrees with Council Member Reinert. The study will provide <br />data that will allow the Council to make the best possible decision. <br />Council Member Carlson stated other plans have gone through theanni and Zoning Board <br />without the study. It is not always necessary to have a feasibili t bef•e plans are reviewed. <br />City Engineer Powell stated that is correct.
