COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 11, 2001 <br />• Council Member Reinert moved to approve 2001 Liquor License Renewals as presented. Council <br />Member Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />• <br />• <br />Resolution No. 01- 72, Approving Park Dedication Land Values and Fees for Residential, <br />Commercial and Industrial Developments — City Planner Smyser advised the City Council <br />approved the second reading of the ordinance that changed the park dedication formula listed in the <br />City's subdivision regulations. Resolution 01-72 listed the base land value to be used in the formulas <br />and the resulting fees for both residential and commercial/industrial development. This resolution <br />would change the fee schedule to incorporate the new park dedication fees. <br />Council Member O'Donnell moved to adopt Resolution No. 01 - 72, as presented. Council Member <br />Carlson seconded the motion. Council Member <br />Carlson seconded the motio Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 01— 64 can be found in the City Clerk's Office. <br />PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA <br />Request to Submit a "COPS in Schools" Grant — Public Safety Director Pecchia advised the Lino <br />Lakes Police Department was requesting approval from the City Council to apply for a "COPS in <br />Schools Grant" to enter into partnership with Centennial School District. The purpose of the grant <br />was to work toward making Rice Lake Elementary one of the safest schools in the nation. The <br />amount of the grant request was $125,000.00 over a three-year period. The grant would be funded as <br />outlined in the grant application. <br />
