COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 11, 2001 <br />Council Member Carlson asked about hazardous material disposal and if there should be a condition <br />in the resolution. City Planner Smyser replied it was not common for the City to deal with that. <br />There were State and Federal regulations that deal with those issues. <br />Craig Hubbard and Steve Lawrence, applicants, replied any types of oils, tires, etc. would be disposed <br />of properly. They were not authorized to deal in any hazardous waste. He stated no oil would run on <br />the ground when maintenance was done. Mr. Hubbard stated trucks may be coming in over the <br />weekend and there may be some trucks coming in after 6:00 p.m. to be dropped off. <br />Mayor Bergeson asked if the occasional truck coming in and parking after 6:00 p.m. was appropriate. <br />City Planner Smyser replied if a problem develops, the applicant would be questioned about it. He <br />did not see a problem with the trucks coming in and being dropped off as long as they were not <br />allowed to idle. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to adopt Resolution No. 01— 78, as ded. Council Member <br />Dahl seconded the motion. Mayor Bergeson stated the home had already been <br />taken down. <br />City Planner Smyser replied that citizen would have been notified that this was going to be rezoned. <br />Council Member Reinert asked if the only use on the property would be a parking lot. City Planner <br />Smyser replied that was the only use they were requesting for that area. <br />Council Member O'Donnell moved to approve FIRST READING of Ordinance No. 11— 01, as <br />presented.
