CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JUNE 19, 2001 <br />Council Member Reinert stated that because the cost of the trees and sprinkler system is <br />very high, there may be a better way to spend that money to eliminate the concerns of the <br />neighbors. The problem will be solved if OSHA allows the beeper ban. He inquired <br />about the liability of OSHA is an employee does get hurt while the beepers are not being <br />used. <br />Mr. Randy Molin, Molin Concrete, stated the company would develop a procedure for the <br />beeper ban and employees would be retrained for the hours between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 <br />a.m. He indicated he is comfortable with his employees not using the beepers. <br />Mayor Bergeson stated the conditions of approval need to be enforced by the City or an <br />application to change the conditions must be submitted. <br />Mr. Molin indicated he will work with staff on the outstanding issues and changes in the <br />conditions of approval to continue moving forward. <br />WEST SHADOW PONDS, JEFF SMYSER <br />City Planner Smyser distributed a copy of the prelimin,. City Planner <br />Smyser indicated all is s r sting to the preliminary plat have been resolved. <br />City Engineer Powell advised reconstruction of 62nd Street will probably not occur until <br />2005. <br />Council Member Dahl stated the plan has changed since it went before the Planning and <br />Zoning Board relating to the number of lots and sewer and water issues. City Planner <br />Smyser stated the plat has not changed since the Planning and Zoning Board approved it. <br />If the property is rezoned sewer and water is no longer an issue. The City Ordinance does <br />allow for a one -acre lot if it includes an existing home and remainder of the property is 10 <br />acres. <br />5 <br />
