CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION AUGUST 22, 2001 <br />Council Member Reinert stated he needs a level of comfort with the amount of time <br />relating to the abatement, not necessarily the amount of the abatement. <br />Council Member Carlson stated she is also concerned about paying interest on taxes that <br />the City is not receiving. <br />Council Member O'Donnell inquired about the ramifications of not granting the <br />abatement. He indicated he just <br />wants to make sur = . usiness has access. <br />This item will appear the regular Council agenda Monday, August 27, 2001, 6:30 p.m. <br />VOLKER/CRENSHAW MINOR SUBDIVISION, JEFF SMYSER <br />City Planner Smyser advised Mr. Voelker has submitted an application for a minor <br />subdivision to split off the eastern portion of the property at 7080 Sunset Road. The <br />property is owned by the current resident, Jon Crenshaw. <br />Mr. Voelker's intent is to create a new single family lot. A variance would be required <br />because the proposed new lot does not comply with the minimum depth of 135 feet. <br />
