CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION AUGUST 22, 2001 At the Planning and Zoning Board meeting, a motion to approve the variance and minor subdivision failed 3-4. A subsequent motion to deny both actions failed for lack of a second. City Planner Smyser advised staff is recommending denial of the application based on lack of justification. Council Member Dahl requested a copy of the Planning and Zoning Board meeting minutes relating to this issue. Mr. Ramsay stated he is okay with the City paying to move the pool, as long as there is no cost to him. The easy solution is to grant the variance for the location of the pool and the fence.
