CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION DECEMBER 12, 2001 ZONING/SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE UPDATE, MICHAEL GROCHALA Community Development Director Grochala advised the Planning and Zoning Board is preparing to have a public hearing regarding this issue tonight. Staff has had a few phone calls and once the issue was explained the reception was good. City Planner Smyser has met with Al Brixius and discussed the process for the ordinance review that was decided on by Council last Monday night. The GTS workshop will be held on January 26 or February 2, 2002. Staff needs to confirm which date by tomorrow. The results from the public hearing will be provided in the Friday updates. The first reading of the interim ordinance will be on Monday night. Councilmember Reinert suggested the group have meetings eve the process to 6-9 months.
