COUNCIL MINUTES MAY 13, 2002 VFW Playground Equipment Donations $23,400 Birch Park Trail (Up To $20,000) Public Services Director DeGardner advised this trail segment has been "in the works" since 1996 and is finally near reality. The City Attorney continues to work with the property owner's attorney to execute the proposed agreement. Construction documents have been prepared and are ready to go out for bid when the proposed agreement has been executed. Total project costs, including attorney fees, estimated acquisition costs, engineering fees, and construction costs may exceed the designated funds for this project by as much as $20,000. This is a necessary step in determining the feasibility of creating TIF Districts to assist with development and redevelopment of two areas of the Town Center.
