He felt if he was willing to pay an assessment for <br />four lots, he should have four votes. <br />Community Development Director Grochala indicated the petition can relate only to the number of <br />properties currently in existence, therefore, Mr. Rehbein would have only one vote regardless of <br />whether his property is larger than the others. <br />Mayor Bergeson indicated any of the 10 residents can present the City with another petition during <br />the 60 -day comment period, for or against this project. <br />Councilmember Carlson stated it is always good to have as many signatures as possible on a petition. <br />She added that the City Charter states benefited property owners can vote only once regardless of the <br />number of properties they own.
