COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 12, 2002 <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 02-83, Accepting Donation from Ladies Auxiliary for School <br />Bus Patrol Transportation, LLPD, Sergeant Rausch, Sergeant Rausch advised the Ladies <br />Auxiliary VFW Post No. 6583 has donated $326.25 to the Lino Lakes Police Department to be used <br />for the Rice Lake Elementary School Safety Patrol program. The monies will be used for bus <br />transportation to the Mall of America for the patrol recognition day. <br />Sergeant Rausch advised City staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 02-83, Accepting <br />Donation from Ladies Auxiliary for School Bus Patrol Transportation. <br />Councilmember Reinert moved to adopt Resolution No. 02-83, Accepting Donation from Ladies <br />Auxiliary for School Bus Patrol Transportation. Councilmember O'Donnell seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 02-83 can be found in the City Clerk's office. <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 02-85, Accepting Dona ino Lakes Lions Club for <br />Safety Equipment, LLPD, Sergeant Rausch, Sergeant RazF ' h a wised the Lino Lakes Lions Club <br />has donated $750.00 to the Lino Lakes Police Departme ed to purchase needed emergency <br />equipment for the Department's motorcycle. The Li $ Lions Club is aware of the need for this <br />equipment and has donated $750.00 for the cost of ees s emergency equipment. The purpose of <br />Resolution No. 02-85 is to publicly thank the Line Lions Club for their generous donation. <br />Sergeant Rausch advised City staff recomme doption of Resolution No. 02-85, Accepting <br />Donation from Lino Lakes Lions Club for ipment. <br />Councilmember Carlson moved to aution No. 02-85, Accepting Donation from Lino Lakes <br />Lions Club for Safety Equipment. y e =r Dahl seconded the motion. <br />Councilmember Carlson exon to all three organizations for their donations. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 02-85 can be found in the City Clerk's office. <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER <br />Consideration of Receiving Bids and Awarding Birch Park Trail Project, Rick DeGardner, <br />Public Services Director DeGardner advised this trail project is located at the end of Trapper's <br />Crossing Court in the Trapper's Crossing development and will provide direct access to Birch Park. <br />The project includes the installation of approximately 315 feet of timber boardwalk, and a timber <br />staircase including planters and concrete pavers. Park maintenance staff will be taking care of all <br />landscaping. <br />12 <br />
