COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 12, 2002 <br />The trunk sanitary sewer area and unit charges for this development are approximately $35,000, for a <br />total increase to the trunk fund of approximately $23,000.00. The remainder of the costs of this <br />project will be recovered through special assessments to the benefiting properties, per the <br />development agreement. <br />City Engineer Studenski indicated the substantial completion date for this project is October 4, 2002, <br />with a final completion date of May 15, 2003. <br />City Engineer Studenski advised City staff recommends the adoption of Resolution No. 02-90, <br />Accepting Bids and Awarding Contract, West Shadow Lake Drive Street and Utility Improvements. <br />Councilmember Carlson asked what the width is of this road. City Engineer Studenski indicated the front of the <br />new homes will drain to the street and the back of the homes will drain to the rear. He noted the <br />swale between the existing and new homes and pointed out that the homes to the south of the existing <br />homes are at a lower elevation. <br />Councilmember Carlson noted this project was scheduled for the spring of 2003 and the end Street <br />improvement project was proposed for the fall. She indicated this will result in the feeding of a 44- <br />31 <br />
