COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 12, 2002 <br />Ms. Walseth asked that the Holly Drive improvement project be placed on a definitive schedule <br />within the City's Five -Year plan. <br />Mayor Bergeson indicated the City Council discussed the Holly Drive improvement project issue, as <br />well as other proposed road improvements, during their recent work session and an update on those <br />discussions will be given following the public hearing this evening. <br />Karen Parsons, 6409 Cassiopeia Court, stated she was present this evening to address the Holly Drive <br />improvement project. She stated she was concerned about the families in this neighborhood and that <br />the road is too narrow for vehicles and pedestrians to utilize the road at the same time. She begged <br />the City Council to make the Holly Drive improvement project part of the Five -Year Plan. She <br />expressed concern that the City may be opening itself up to liability issues. <br />Miriam Passenheim, 1147 South Trapper's Crossing, stated she. <br />and one-half years. He indicated the feasibility report that had been <br />completed for the Holly Drive/12th Street project in 1995 is being revised. He indicated these <br />feasibility reports will be much more in-depth in design and cost estimate in order for the Council to <br />make an informed decision. <br />City Engineer Studenski indicated 62nd Street and Elm Street were currently scheduled for the 2003 <br />construction season and Holly Drive was scheduled for improvements in 2004.
