CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION AUGUST 21, 2002 <br />Community Development Director Grochala stated the City first has to get the erosion <br />stopped and then work on cleaning out the culverts. Staff is working with the developers <br />and builders to resolve this issue. <br />City Administrator Waite Smith asked if it is pratical for the City do the work and then <br />bill the builders. <br />Community Development Director Grochala stated staff can check with the City Attorney <br />regarding that option. <br />Acting Mayor Reinert stated this issue should be put on the next work session agenda for <br />an update. <br />Councilmember Carlson asked if the City is going to have s" ening requirements in the <br />new City ordinances. Community Development Director Gr. ffi . stated staff is trying to <br />figure out where to put silt fencing requirements in but they X11 b; Lcluded somewhere <br />in the new ordinances. <br />Councilmember Carlson inquired about the drainage es ere put in at Durango <br />Point. Community Development Director Groch. 'buted and reviewed the lots that <br />are having drainage problems. Mr. Hokanson . s ut . . nage tiles in but that did not <br />improve the situation. The swale is located w i - - hould be. Mr. Hokanson is going to <br />bring in a soil engineer to find out what is d what can be done about it. <br />Councilmember Carlson stated she w. 'k eport on Mr. Hokanson's response in the <br />Friday update. <br />Councilmember Dahl stated st. ne: Fto watch that developers do not change <br />plans from what was originallya�� d by the City. <br />LIQUOR CODE AME S, VIEW, ANN BLAIR <br />City Clerk Blair distributed i formation regarding the proposed liquor code amendments <br />including a copy of the Plymouth City Code, Liquor Regulations Chapter 112 and <br />Minnesota Statues 2001,340A.404. <br />City Clerk Blair noted the City does not have a current permit to allow organizations such <br />as the Lion's Club to sell liquor at a one -day event. The City can write its own ordinance <br />similar to Subd.10 in the Minnesota Statutes 2001,340A.404. She asked for feedback on <br />the draft ordinance that was distributed at the last Council work session. <br />Councilmember Carlson stated she is concerned about too many adult businesses being <br />built too close together. <br />
