CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION AUGUST 21, 2002 <br />Acting Mayor Reinert advised Council to review the new information and further discuss <br />this issue at the next Council work session. <br />Councilmember Carlson asked for information regarding the distances between current <br />liquor license holders. <br />Acting Mayor Reinert suggested the City go with either no restrictions or a certain mile <br />distance between license holders. <br />STONEYBROOK RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION, MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />Community Development Director Grochala stated this issue was discussed at a work <br />session in July and it was tabled until the September Council meeting. He noted a motion <br />must be made by a Councilmember to pull this item from the regular agenda Monday <br />night. The Council recognized that there could be revisions to the Plan <br />before it was implemented. The City Council has had numerous discussions about the <br />Plan, and agreed to some revisions. The Metropolitan Council approved the <br />Comprehensive Plan on August 14. Now the City Council must give final approval to the <br />Plan. Resolution No. 02 103 approves the Comprehensive Plan as revised. <br />City Planner Smyser reviewed the revisions, noting they will be incorporated into the <br />document in the next few weeks, including the maps.
