CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 4, 2002 <br />3. Discuss with the City of Lino Lakes staff the need for a southbound right <br />turn lane at CSAH 10/Ware Road <br />4. Discuss with Anoka County and City of Lino Lakes staff the provision of a <br />westbound left -turn lane at CSAH 10/Ware Road. <br />Councilmember O'Donnell suggested stripping a left -turn lane at Hwy 49 and Birch <br />Street. <br />Mayor Bergeson directed staff to discuss that possibility with Anoka County. <br />Community Development Director Grochala read a letter from the County outlining their <br />recommendation for the roadway. <br />Councilmember Carlson requested a copy of the letter from <br />Council directed staff to coordinate with Mr. Winnieke , ► ty regarding a traffic <br />study being done with the addition of a turn lane. <br />Mr. Brad Mateer, Harvard Market, came forward <br />stores in the area of the University of Minnesot <br />the larger store noting he would like to devel <br />also passed around a business breakdown <br />groceries. <br />Councilmember Reinert asked why <br />area and if the store can be devel <br />Mr. Mateer stated there is not en <br />pumps. The gas station would be more acceptable if there was some type of <br />divider between the residential area. <br />Mr. Tom Manke came forward and explained the process used for the gas tanks in <br />relation to safety issues. He noted that tanks today contain monitors that check for leaks <br />24 hours a day. <br />
