CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION SEPTEMBER 4, 2002 Mayor Bergeson stated he is concerned that if the process is delayed there will be more failing septics. It was the consensus of Council to not add a 2002 road reconstruction referendum on the regular Council agenda Monday night. Mayor Bergeson stated the City does need to write a letter to the residents the projects will affect and advise them the City is beginning the process. FIVE-YEAR PLAN, AL ROLEK Finance Director Rolek stated staff is still looking for direction from the Council regarding the Five -Year Plan. Because the current propose! ' an is already two years behind, staff is recommending the Plan be revised and appro ter this year for 2003- 2007. It is anticipated that the Plan will be completed and a. roved R December. PROPOSED FIX FOR CIVIC COMPLEX TEMPERATURE PROBLEMS, LINDA WAITE SMITH City Administrator Waite Smith distributed and reviewed information regarding a request to spend $26,000 from the Contingency Fund on measures to improve the air quality at City Hall. Staff has discovered there is a serious problem in the Civic Center Complex, especially in the Early Childhood Center. The problem relates to temperature control and mold.
