COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 8, 2004 <br />APPROVED <br />143City Clerk Blair advised that the annual license renewal period is July 1st, at which time they will be <br />.144 looking at other small changes to the code, and can adjust the fees if necessary. She stated this is a <br />145 small change to accommodate an immediate request that Staff felt could be handled now. <br />146 <br />147 Councilmember Carlson moved to approve the FIRST READING of Ordinance no. 05-054, <br />148 amending the City Code, Section 700, The Liquor Code, by adding section relating to sale of Strong <br />149 Beer in conjunction with Wine and 3.2% Beer Sales. Councilmember Dahl seconded the motion. <br />150 <br />151 VOTE: 4 — 0. Councilmember Carlson voted yea. Councilmember Dahl voted yea. Councilmember <br />152 Stoltz voted yea. Mayor Bergeson voted yea. Councilmember Reinert was absent. <br />153 <br />154 B. Consider AFSCME Union Contract 2004 — 2005, Dan Tesch <br />155 <br />156 Director of Administration Tesch summarized the Staff report, noting Staff recommends approval of <br />157 the contract. <br />158 <br />159 Councilmember Stoltz moved to approve the contract settlement for AFSCME for the years 2004 and <br />160 2005.
