Consideration of Resolution No. 05-16, Approving Land Purchase, Rehbein Property <br />245 (Lake Drive Improvements), Mary Divine <br />246 <br />247 Economic Development Coordinator Divine summarized the Staff report, indicating Staff is <br />248 recommending approval. <br />249 <br />250 Councilmember Carlson clarified that no part of this is being sold to Fairview Clinic. Economic <br />251 Development Coordinator Divine confirmed that was correct. <br />252 <br />253 Councilmember Dahl noted that at the work session she had asked about the $1.75 per square foot, <br />254 and she thinks it should be noted this is a good price. Consideration of Resolution No. 05-17, Approving Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka <br />265 County, AUAR Cost Sharing, Michael Grochala <br />266 <br />267 Community Development Director Grochala summarized the Staff report, indicating that Staff is <br />268 recommending approval. <br />269 <br />270 Councilmember Stoltz moved to adopt Resolution No. 05-17 approving a Joint Powers Agreement <br />271 with Anoka County, AUAR Cost Sharing. Councilmember Reinert seconded the motion. <br />272 <br />273 Councilmember Carlson expressed concerns with this that will follow what was voiced at the <br />274 Environmental Board Meeting about going through the north area of the park. She stated she is <br />275 inclined to vote for it because half of the money for the transportation study is coming from the <br />276 County, but she is concerned that if she endorses this, she would also be endorsing that northerly <br />277 route. <br />278 <br />279 Community Development Director Grochala advised the northerly alignment is included within the <br />280 AUAR for evaluation purposes. He noted the preferred alignment for Main Street as identified in the <br />281 County Road 14 Improvement study was to 80`h. He indicated Staff felt this needed to be evaluated <br />282 further, and the County agreed. He stated no one is ready to build a road yet, and during the CSAH <br />283 14 public hearings, there were concerns about a northerly alignment, but also support. He indicated <br />284 Anoka County recognizes Lino Lake's transportation issues and sees an advantage to spending the <br />285 money and providing assistance now so the City can do some planning. <br />.86 <br />
