Motion carried unanimously. <br />3 <br />4 Conditional Job Offers to Two Police Officer Candidates, Dan Tesch — Administration Director <br />5 Tesch stated the City has gone through recruitment process to replace two budgeted, vacant police <br />6 officer positions. In order to bring these officers on as soon as possible, staff would like authorization <br />7 to make conditional offers of employment to Peter Knoll and Terina Peterson. This offer is continent <br />8 upon successful completion of background checks, as well as physical and psychological tests. <br />9 <br />10 Council Member Carlson moved to allow staff to make conditional offers of employment to Peter <br />11 Knoll and Terina Peterson, for the position of police officer, as presented. Council Member Stoltz <br />12 seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />13 <br />14 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA <br />15 <br />16 Consideration of Resolution No. 06-215, Approving Emergency Management Mitigation Plan, <br />17 Dave Pecchia — Chief Pecchia advised the County of Anoka is participating in a hazard mitigation <br />18 planning process and is requesting participation by all cities and townships within their jurisdiction. <br />19 This resolution allows the City of Lino Lakes to participate in the Anoka County Multi -Jurisdictional <br />20 Hazard Mitigation Plan. <br />21 <br />22 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 06-215, as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />24 <br />25 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER <br />26 <br />27 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br />28 <br />29 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT, MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />30 <br />31 Legacy at Woods Edge Development Contract, Michael Grochala - <br />32 <br />33 Consideration of Resolution No. 06-195, Approving the Assignment and Release of Certain <br />34 Obligations Under the Contract for Private Development with Hartford Development, Inc., <br />35 Michael Grochala — Community Development Director Grochala advised Hartford Group has <br />36 submitted a plan and received approvals for Lakewood Apartments, which will be owned by a limited <br />37 liability company, LLAH Limited Partnership. This action releases the Hartford Group from the <br />38 conditions that will be assumed by the limited partnership. This release will be delivered upon <br />39 approval of the site development agreement with LLAH Limited Partnership. <br />40 <br />41 Mayor Bergeson moved to approve Resolution No. 06-195, as presented.
