Requirements for
non-governmental flags remain unchanged.
Permanent Signs
• Increase allowance for permanent signage for non-residential uses in residential areas
e.g., schools & churches by allowing for both a wall sign and a monument sign for these
uses. The ordinance does not currently allow for both.
• Change the wall sign requirements to allow for signs on any facade not adjacent to a
residential zone. In this case a second sign is allowed.
• Change the wall and ground sign maximum sign area allowed for non-residential uses
in Rural, Residential and Rural -Business Reserve districts to 50 square feet and 80
square feet respectively.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff is recommending approval of the 2nd Reading of Ordinance 09-14 and adoption of
Resolution No. 14-129 approving the summary ordinance for publication.
ATTACHMENTS
1.
