(49) Dwelling, Townhouse. A one-family dwelling in <br /> ^ a row of at least three such units in which <br /> each unit has its own front and rear access to <br /> the outside, no unit is located over another <br /> unit, and each unit is separated from any <br /> other unit by one or more common fire <br /> resistant walls. <br /> (50) Dwelling, Two-Family. A structure containing <br /> two dwelling units, each of which is totally <br /> separated from the other by an unpierced wall <br /> extending from ground to roof or an unpierced <br /> ceiling and floor extending from exterior wall <br /> to exterior wall, except for a common <br /> stairwell exterior to both dwelling units. <br /> (51) Dwelling Unit. One or more rooms, designed, <br /> occupied or intended for occupancy as separate <br /> living quarters, with cooking, sleeping and <br /> sanitary facilities provided within the <br /> dwelling unit for the exclusive use of a <br /> single family maintaining a household. <br /> (52) Earth Sheltered Home. "Earth sheltered" means <br /> constructed so that 50 percent or more of the <br /> exterior surface is covered or in contact with <br /> .� earth. Exterior surface includes all walls <br /> and roof, but excludes garages and other <br /> accessory buildings. Earth covering on walls <br /> is measured from the floor of the structure's <br /> lowest level. Earth covering on the roof must <br /> be at least 12 inches deep to be included in <br /> calculations of earth covering. Partially <br /> completed buildings shall not be considered <br /> earth sheltered. <br /> (53) Easement. A grant of one or more of the <br /> property rights by the property owner to <br /> and/or for the use by the public, a <br /> corporation or another person or entity. <br /> (54) Existing Use. The use of a lot or structure at <br /> the time of the enactment of a zoning <br /> ordinance. <br /> (55) Exterior Storage/Storage Yards. An outside <br /> area where equipment or material relating to <br /> the principal use of a parcel of land is <br /> stored.
