(49) Dwelling, Townhouse. A one-family dwelling in ^ a row of at least three such units in which each unit has its own front and rear access to the outside, no unit is located over another unit, and each unit is separated from any other unit by one or more common fire resistant walls. (50) Dwelling, Two-Family. A structure containing two dwelling units, each of which is totally separated from the other by an unpierced wall extending from ground to roof or an unpierced ceiling and floor extending from exterior wall to exterior wall, except for a common stairwell exterior to both dwelling units. (51) Dwelling Unit. One or more rooms, designed, occupied or intended for occupancy as separate living quarters, with cooking, sleeping and sanitary facilities provided within the dwelling unit for the exclusive use of a single family maintaining a household. (52) Earth Sheltered Home. "Earth sheltered" means constructed so that 50 percent or more of the exterior surface is covered or in contact with .� earth. Exterior surface includes all walls and roof, but excludes garages and other accessory buildings. Earth covering on walls is measured from the floor of the structure's lowest level. Earth covering on the roof must be at least 12 inches deep to be included in calculations of earth covering. Partially completed buildings shall not be considered earth sheltered. (53) Easement. A grant of one or more of the property rights by the property owner to and/or for the use by the public, a corporation or another person or entity. (54) Existing Use. The use of a lot or structure at the time of the enactment of a zoning ordinance. (55) Exterior Storage/Storage Yards. An outside area where equipment or material relating to the principal use of a parcel of land is stored.
